Today the pupils of Year 8, 9 and 10 completed a number of seminars based around Mental Health Awareness, Cancer Awareness and Drug Awareness. The event was developed through the subject area of Learning for Life and Work. This event was to highlight some of the serious issues that young people presently face and will continue to face as they develop for Life and Work. The visitors that delivered each seminar were super and kept the pupils enthused throughout. We also had a visit of our local MLA Paula Bradley who was a past pupil. She commented that the school was being pro-active in highlighting these three issues that young people face.
