Counselling
At Integrated College Glengormley, pupils can access professional counselling through an independent school counsellor or through school counsellors from Action Mental Health.
This provision offers a safe, confidential space for young people to discuss emotional wellbeing, mental health, and personal challenges. Counselling is particularly beneficial for more complex or sensitive issues, as it provides structured, therapeutic support from clinically trained professionals, beyond the scope of general youth work.
Our aim is to ensure every pupil receives the right support at the right time, helping them feel understood and better equipped to manage challenges in and out of school.
Mrs Dodds our Designated Teacher coordinates the school counselling support.

Youth Services
At Integrated College Glengormley, pupils can access youth support from a range of workers offering informal one-to-one or small group sessions. This includes support from Bethan Edge (Young Life Mentoring), Ben McGloin (EA Full Time School Youth Worker) and Marc Young (Alternatives).
This short-term, flexible support helps build confidence, relationships, and everyday coping skills.
Our youth service provision aims to provide trusted support that keeps pupils engaged and help them make positive choices.
