Student Council

Student Council

ICG’s school council plays a vital role in school, enabling us to give our students a voice in how the school can benefit us all.  We have representatives throughout Years 8, 9 10 and 11 working together for the benefit of our pupils and wider school community.  This year we have been looking at ways to improve students voice, lobbying to get a water fountain and exploring ways to improve emotional and mental well-being.  We had the opportunity to meet with Mr Massey to have Q and A session.  This gave the council a great insight into managing and leading our school.

We encourage pupils to develop a sense of ownership over our school’s policies and take responsibility towards our school community and environment.  We will be working with the ICG Eco Club to help make a positive impact on environmental issues, as well as working with charities in our local community. We are committed to promoting ICG’s Integrated ethos and will continue to promote School of Sanctuary throughout our school. We work hard to promote inclusion, diversity and understanding.
