Holocaust Ambassador Reception
Two of our Year 14 students – Natalie Montgomery and Erin English – participated in a province-wide trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau with the Holocaust Educational Trust last year. They trained successfully to become Holocaust Ambassadors for the Trust. The girls attended a reception recently in Stormont where they listened to a talk from Walter Kammerling, a Holocaust Survivor. Erin and Natalie will be leading assemblies this January to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day on the 27th of that month. They will also be attending Open Night and will be available to discuss their experiences of their visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau with visiting parents and primary students.
