Here are the School Council reps for Sixth form..
.. and now an update on what they have been doing.
The sixth form council reps have been busy making plans to improve the sixth form centre and social area. Miss Mulholland has provided Art canvases and Mrs Jackson has asked the building supervisor to put this up in the space. Glenn Lucas secured movie posters for the social area and the team have agreed to work together to decorate the social area with these.
The team have decided to have a raffle to raise money to further improve the sixth form centre facilities. Prizes will include, a night for two at the Europa hotel, pamper packs from superdrug, itunes vouchers to name but a few. The raffle will be open to staff and pupils and the draw will take place on Friday 29th November.
The council reps will also be working with the organisation ‘Hope Harbour’ and will be appealing to the whole of sixth form to get together and gather items for their Xmas campaign for the homeless in Belfast. A small number of the team will also be volunteering with Hope Harbour in the evening to help feed the homeless community and give out sleeping bags in a couple of weeks’ time.
