Pupils engaged in lively discussion with Year 12, 13 and 14 pupils in the style of ‘speed dating’, moving from subject to subject to get a holistic feel to picking subjects for GCSE. Pupils were then given case study cards promoting various career paths that certain subjects will lead to. In addition, the case study cards highlighted labour market information along with Salary/Working conditions etc.

Pupils were able to recognise their employability skills and transfer them into making a suitable choice at GCSE relating to their desired career path.
Pupils left armed with information under the CEAIG Framework in order to build a portfolio of work related skills for life.
