Prince’s Trust
Our partnership with Prince’s Trust means we can run our Achieve programme in school. It is made up through delivering a range of units of work which contribute towards a Level 2 Certificate in Personal Development and Employability, as well as benefitting the personal, social and health education of our young people. All the units help to develop key skills in curriculum areas, preparing them to succeed in whatever they want to do next.
Prince’s Trust also have a network of partners who can work with us to provide our clubs with extra opportunities for skill development. These activities allow young people unique opportunities to discover new interests and learn about the world of work. The programmes units are split into six modules:
- Skills for school
- Personal, social development
- Life skills
- Active citizenship
- Enterprise projects
- Preparation for work
The programme is task based and requires the young people to complete evidence instead of completing an examination. For our young people who complete Achieve they gain the equivalent of two B grades at GCSE. The Prince’s Trust Achieve Programme is designed to support young people to reach their potential and succeed in education and future employment.
