Our fabulous Year 13 ICT students attended a Young Enterprise Digital Industry Masterclass. They listened to local digital entrepreneurs, worked in groups to come up with an idea for an app and developed a business plan. Then they had to do a Dragon’s Den presentation to pitch their idea. One of our teams managed to make it the final with an idea called “Major solutions for Minor problems” and had to present to all the schools – unfortunately they didn’t win. Congratulations to one of our other groups who won “Best Group Presentation” and Carolyn Lunney who won “Best Individual Presentation”. Our pupils were brilliant ambassadors for the school and represented what is great about Glengormley High.
